Polam Holiday Club runs during half terms and school holidays , providing a fun, active, and caring environment for children when school is closed. Our holiday provision is designed to be flexible, engaging, and reassuring for families, whether your child already attends Polam or is joining us from another setting.
The School and Nursery are fully closed for two weeks at Christmas and two weeks at the end of the summer, meaning Polam provides 48 weeks of care each year.
We offer two holiday clubs, tailored to different age groups:
- Holiday Club (Ages 4+ and in full-time school) – open to both Polam pupils and children from other schools
- Nursery Holiday Club (Ages 1–4) – available exclusively to children who attend Polam Nursery
Both clubs are led by familiar, experienced staff and reflect Polam’s values of care, confidence, and curiosity. Days are thoughtfully structured to include a balance of play, creative activities, outdoor time, and calm moments, ensuring children feel settled, supported, and engaged throughout the holiday.
Holiday Club runs from 8:00am to 5:30pm, with flexible drop-off and collection times within the day. Please note that Holiday Club hours are slightly shorter than our term-time wraparound care.
Holiday Club is booked separately from school and nursery fees and is managed through our online booking platform, allowing families to book the days they need with clarity and flexibility.

Main School Holiday Club
Our home-from-home Holiday Club welcomes all children aged 4+ (Polam and non-Polam) who attend full-time school, offering a varied programme of crafts, sports, swimming, fancy dress and more, so every day feels different.
Run by qualified, experienced staff who know each child by name and use our excellent facilities, it provides a secure, friendly and homely environment.
The Club runs 8.30am–4.00pm, with a hot lunch prepared and cooked on the premises, and snacks included, plus optional breakfast and late sessions with a light tea. Our Holiday Clubs operate most of the year (excluding two weeks in August, two weeks at Christmas, and Easter bank holidays).

Nursery Holiday Club
Our Nursery Holiday Club welcomes all Polam Nursery children up to age 4, offering fun, age-appropriate activities such as messy play, rhyme time, cooking, arts and crafts, and more. Run by our qualified nursery team in familiar rooms and outdoor spaces, it provides a safe and friendly environment.
The club operates 8.30am–4.00pm with lunch and snacks included, plus optional breakfast and late sessions for added flexibility. It runs year-round, except for short breaks in August, at Christmas, and during Easter bank holidays.
