Polam Fees

Polam offers nurturing early education with flexible fee options to support families. Learn more about our termly and monthly payment plans and how we help every child grow with confidence.

With the right support, every child can succeed.

Choosing an independent education is an investment in your child’s confidence, curiosity and long-term potential. At Polam, we focus on giving children the very best start – one that builds strong foundations not just academically, but socially and emotionally too.

As an independent nursery and pre-prep school, Polam benefits from the wider resources, specialist teaching and facilities of an independent school setting. This gives younger children access to experiences – from swimming and specialist spaces to a rich, carefully structured curriculum – that are rarely available so early on.

For many families, joining Polam for the early years and primary phase offers the perfect start, even if independent education later on may not be the right fit. Children who leave Polam at the end of Year 2 do so confident, capable and well prepared, often making a smooth and successful transition into state education having benefitted from these formative years.

Fees are normally billed before the start of each term in September, January, April.

Polam School & Nursery

Nursery & Preschool Sessions (1–4 years)

Our nursery is organised across three age-appropriate classes, allowing children to learn and grow in environments carefully matched to their stage of development:

  • Acorns – Nursery for ages 1–2
  • Saplings – Nursery for ages 2–3
  • Preschool – for children aged 3–4

Families can choose a flexible combination of morning and afternoon sessions, subject to availability, to suit their child’s needs and routine. A minimum of four sessions per week is required.

Due to rest and nap routines, afternoon-only sessions are not available in Acorns and Saplings. Afternoon-only attendance is possible in Preschool.

  • Morning session: 8:30am – 12:30pm
  • Afternoon session: 12:30pm – 4:00pm

Wraparound care is available to book from 8:00am-6pm during term time. Holiday Club is also available with care provided 8:00am-5:30pm (holiday club is not available for 2 weeks at Christmas and the last 2 weeks of summer).

Morning session fees include snacks and lunch. Afternoon sessions include a snack but not lunch.

Our admissions team is always happy to help families think through the most suitable pattern of sessions for their child. As children move through Preschool, we often recommend gradually increasing sessions towards full-time, helping them prepare confidently for the transition into Reception.

Early Years Funding

Early Years Funding is available for eligible working families of 1–4 year olds and can be applied for 15 or 30 funded hours per week, depending on eligibility and age.

As an independent nursery and preschool, Polam offers a rich and enhanced early years experience. Children benefit from specialist teaching and a broad curriculum that may include PE, music, swimming and dedicated learning spaces, alongside high-quality early years provision. This is supported by regular communication with families and a carefully structured approach to learning and development. All snacks and lunches are included within our fees, which reflect this broader provision.

We encourage families to speak with the admissions team for a personalised estimate of fees once funding is applied.
