Extra-Curricular Activities
Before & After School Clubs
Various club activities are arranged before and after school. These are offered to children in Years 1, 2 and 3 and take place from 8.15am or after school until 4.30pm as detailed below, commencing on Monday 15th September. These are:
- GYM CLUB, with Mrs. Rawlinson, for children in Years 1, 2 and 3 takes place after school on Tuesdays. These groups develop general gymnastic skills including use of apparatus and work towards the B.A.G.A. awards.
- MINI TENNIS sessions take place with professional tennis coaches before school each day of the week commencing at 8.15am, after school on Mondays, and Saturday mornings. These sessions will cater for all standards of player. The session on Monday morning will be for school team members by invitation only.
- PREMIER SOCCER will be running a soccer course in the Sports Hall after school on Wednesdays.
- SPORTS ACROBATICS GYM CLUB will take place on Fridays, after school. This will be taken by Falcon Gymnastics Club.
- VOLUNTARY LUNCHTIME CLUBS for various sporting, musical, dance, computing and craft activities are also offered. These are arranged directly with the children wishing to take part and there is no charge for clubs during school hours.
